CS253 Lab 6: Model of MLH 310
Due Tuesday, October 28
For this lab, make a model of MLH 310 or some other mostly square building. Take a picture from each side for a texture. Getting closer to square will minimize distortion errors, and feel free to start with the ambulance texture demo from in-class to correct for perspective. Note that that demo does skew the texture somewhat based on distance from the camera - we'll correct for that in class on Tuesday. Feel free to turn details such as stairways square with the building. If you're off-campus, or just want to use a building other than MLH 310, just pick some other mostly square building.
Tools not discussed in class are "fair game" as far as perspective correction. This includes photoshop plugins, etc. So if you have some favorite image editing tools around, feel free to use them.
In class, I set the due date as Tuesday, October 21, since I forgot to post it, and the perspective correction isn't in the demo yet, consider it extended to October 28. I might still assign a maze generation project, but it'll be due later than October 28.
Like the other labs, turn in a screenshot or rendered picture on Canvas, along with the script that you used to generate it.
